Why this matters now
AI is already in your school. The question is whether you know how.
Staff are using AI tools. Students are using AI tools. Some uses are smart. Some carry real risk. Most schools don't yet have a clear picture — which makes it very hard to lead confidently, set sound policy, or make good decisions for your community.
Most schools have no baseline. Decisions about AI are being made without evidence of what is actually happening across the school.

The AI Readiness and Practice Review is built on Te Ara Tuapae — a framework developed specifically for Aotearoa New Zealand schools. It draws on responses from your leadership team, staff, and board, mapping where your school sits across ten domains on a clear five-level maturity model.

Whether policy reflects what is actually happening, and how well leadership is positioned to guide the school forward.

Complete the short registration form. You'll receive a unique school code and survey links by email, usually within one working day.
Share the surveys
Share links with your leadership team, staff, and board. Each survey takes 20–35 minutes. You set the timeframe that works for your school.
Receive your report
Tim analyses the data and produces your visual maturity report — domain by domain, ready to present to your leadership team and board.
Debrief and decide
A 90-minute session with Tim to work through your results and agree priorities. You leave with a clear picture and a practical next step.
